Had the great pleasure of meeting Mary Slattery who gave an inspiring presentation on activities to do with primary school students using a teddy bear. It's all in
the book which I am looking forward to getting. I have admired Mary from afar and used one of her other books,
English for Primary Teachers so it was great to meet her (and her bears).

Thanks for your comment on my blog :) Mary's a wonderful teacher, trainer and colleague ...and "bear" (and his pals) are the best :) Really enjoyed looking at the info on your blogs...didn't realise there was a potato pal called Nina -- will have to get my hands on some of the books!
Mary's Bear is the bee's knees! Dede and I watched the vid - I LOVE well thought-out simple ideas.
