This weekend we went to the shrine to celebrate A'n'K getting to 7 and 3 unscathed. It's called Shichigosan (753). Unfortunately we don't have a 5 year old but 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I was talking to one of my students and said we had 'killed two birds with one stone'. They said that this wasn't an appropriate expression to use in this case. Mmmm.
