Back in Korea

Just back from a busy weekend in Korea.
Yuko and I went on a double date with Amanda
and Nori. I was presenting. They were shopping and eating. OK! I did my fair share of eating too...and drinking, of course. The food is incredibly spicy and quite different from Japanese food.

The lady in pink is the founder of KOTESOL. She has been in South Korea since the Korean war but her three sisters were left behind in the North. She found out last year that her youngest sister had been shot 26 years ago.

We stayed in the same lovely hotel we'd been in with Mum and the kids in March. Our room was very quiet this time! It was the first time in 7 years we have both been away from the kids. Finally we have managed to leave the nest.
