Pommes de Terre!

Glad to see that Potato Pals are now being sold to French Canadians. Here's something for you 'O' Level French speakers out there...

Bon appetit!)

Now if there had only been a French version of the potato pals when I was a young lad growing up in English Canada, I might actually speak some French today!

Is Sarah French Canadian? Did you just pass up a prime opportunity for a poutine joke?

Ah, poutine. The fat-free, calorie-wise way to enjoy a spud. How can you enjoy this delicious dish, you wonder?

First, deep fry the tater just as you would a pomme frite. Next, after arranging these fried beauties in a deep dish, cover liberally with cheese curds. And, finally, (la piece de resistance) you will now smother the cheese and spuds with a thick, rich beef gravy. Voila, you have created poutine. Magnifique!

A Quebec delicacy brought to you from a Montreal gal.
